We are looking for a dynamic and personable Hospitality Lead to join our teams. This pivotal role is designed to set a new standard for guest interactions in our restaurants, elevating the guest experience from the moment they walk through the door. As the first point of contact for our guests, the Hospitality Lead will be responsible for ensuring every guest is greeted, seated, and treated with respect, care, and sincerity. This role goes beyond traditional hosting responsibilities and embodies an elevated version of our host position—akin to a maitre'de—ensuring an exceptional level of service for each and every guest.

The Hospitality Assistant plays a key role in ensuring a seamless dining experience for all guests by supporting the hospitality team in service execution. Reporting to the Hospitality Lead while on shift, this position is responsible for assisting with table turns, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and updating the Yelp iPad to reflect accurate table statuses. The Hospitality Assistant is also a crucial support in guest service, helping to fulfill any needs that contribute to an outstanding hospitality experience.

The purpose of the server position is to interact with guests and ensure they have an exceptional dining experience at our restaurant. A server takes orders, answers questions about the menu, food, and drinks, upsells menu and drink items, and processes payments. They communicate orders with the kitchen staff, seat customers, and assist with customer service and cleaning. Servers are responsible for positive guest interactions. They should be knowledgeable about the menu and allergens, serve guests in a friendly and efficient manner, and anticipate needs and attend to guest needs.

Bartenders mix and serve alcoholic beverages based on customer requests. Their duties include verifying the identification and age of customers, preparing and serving alcoholic beverages, accepting payment from customers, cleaning glasses & bar utensils & maintaining a clean, organized bar area. They have extensive knowledge of common drinks, which they use to recommend drinks to customers, prepare cocktails, pour beers and properly decant wines. Bartenders may also entertain customers who sit at the bar and provide excellent customer service while filling drink orders for other customers and servers.

Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least 21 years of age to meet the legal requirements for facilitating the sale of alcoholic beverages.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred (but not required)
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a hospitality or restaurant setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on positive guest interactions.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed during busy or high-pressure situations.
  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Essential Physical Functions:

  • Ability to speak and hear.
  • Close and distant vision required.
  • Frequent walking, with occasional periods of standing.
  • May walk for extended periods or long distances.
  • Frequently lifts/carries up to 25 lbs.
  • Occasionally lifts/carries up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to reach hands and arms in any direction and to kneel and stoop repeatedly.

Working Conditions:

  • Varying schedule, including evenings, holidays, and extended hours as business dictates.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to heat and cold from mechanical equipment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate to loud.
  • Will work near moving or mechanical parts.
  • May work near toxic or caustic chemicals and with fumes or airborne particles.
